Information on data protection

Thank you for your interest in participating in our experiment.

The experiment is conducted by the Chair of Entrepreneurial and Behavioural Decision Making
(Prof. Christian D. Schade, Unter den Linden 6, 10099 Berlin) of the School of Business and Economics at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin.

By participating in our experiment you will make an important contribution to decision making and entrepreneurship research. You might also be monetarily rewarded in varying amounts depending on your in-game behaviour.
Data on your decisions and demographic data will be collected as part of the experiment. Your data will be treated confidentially and will not be passed on to unauthorised third parties.There is no data retention.

Personal contact information is stored separately from the experimental data, inaccessible to third parties and protected. After completion of the research project, your contact information will be automatically deleted.
The collected data/experimental data will be stored in a protected pseudonymised/anonymised form and used exclusively for the stated research purpose.
The participating researchers are and will be obligated to maintain confidentiality and to comply with the data protection requirements according to the General Data Protection Regulation (DSGVO). The research data will be evaluated in anonymised and aggregated form, so that it is not possible to draw conclusions about an individual person. In particular, publications are only released in a way that excludes the identification of a particular individual.

Personal data will be deleted no later than the time of publication of the results. Your participation is voluntary. The legal basis for data processing is your consent.
